Job summary

London Approach is seeking a Principal Software Developer to provide technical leadership and hands-on design and modernization of enterprise systems, combining architectural decision-making with active coding across initiatives.

You will guide development teams in cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure, RESTful APIs, and data storage strategies, while mentoring engineers, enforcing secure coding, and promoting CI/CD and IaC practices.

Qualifications

10+ years of software development with strong C# and .NET.
3+ years in a Senior/Principal technical capacity.
Cloud-native services on Azure experience.
Expertise in RESTful APIs and systems integration.
CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior technical resource within an Agile team.
Lead design and implementation of complex system features aligned with enterprise architecture.
Provide technical guidance through code reviews, pair programming, and mentorship.
Collaborate with Product and QA to ensure feature alignment, quality, and scalability.
Architect, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations.
Design and optimize data storage solutions using SQL and cloud technologies.
Promote CI/CD, IaC, and secure coding standards.
Maintain a security-first mindset across the SDLC.
Drive cross-team problem solving and remove roadblocks.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and documentation.
