OpenAI is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for the ChatGPT Learning team to set technical direction and lead end-to-end development of learning experiences at scale. You will stay hands-on across the stack, shaping multimodal capabilities and scalable services for millions of learners.

You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, researchers, and platform teams to translate opportunities into concrete architecture and product decisions, ensuring high-quality user experiences.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience shipping full-stack products.
• Led complex initiatives and architecture decisions balancing product, speed and maintainability.
• Experience driving product and design decisions with product managers and designers.
• Experience building interactive educational tools or learning products.
