The role requires 10+ years of engineering experience, deep Java knowledge, and hands-on experience with SpringBoot, DynamoDB, Kafka, and AWS. Office four days a week in Seattle.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant work experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Java including heap, threading, GC, profiling.
• Demonstrated ability in highly distributed, highly available services.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Write and review code and tests across services.
• Review implementations for best practices and complexity.
• Support engineers on on-call shifts when needed.
• Translate product requirements into technical tasks with leads.
• Propose solutions to improve ad serving systems and reduce costs.
