The Impact of a Principal Software Engineer at Coupa:
We're looking for someone who's rebuilt a production system while it was running. CSP (Coupa Supplier Platform) serves millions of supplier companies—it's where they find work, receive orders, issue invoices, and get paid. The platform started as a Rails monolith. It works, but it needs to evolve. More traffic, more features, multi-cloud deployment, higher availability requirements.
You'll report to the VP of Engineering. CSP operates as a nimble team outside the larger engineering org, moving fast and pioneering approaches that demonstrate what's possible. You'll work with Ruby on Rails, Golang, Java— and introduce whatever else the architecture needs.
At Coupa, we are 100% committed to creating and nurturing an environment that supports your physical, mental, and community well-being. We offer a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to help you and your family thrive:
Please note: In addition to these global well-being perks, Coupa offers highly competitive, location-specific benefits packages (which include comprehensive medical/dental insurance, retirement/pension plans, and life or accident protection) tailored to your primary work location. Your recruiter will walk you through the specific regional benefits package for this role during the interview process.
Coupa complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding equal opportunity and offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
