Position Overview

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing robust applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will leverage your expertise to create scalable, serverless architectures that drive our cybersecurity solutions. This position is ideal for someone who is hungry for growth, embraces ambiguity, and is excited to help set the technical vision for the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, Postgres, Clickhouse
• Data Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain fast production grade data pipelines at scale using Apache Flink
• Agentic Workflows: Keep up with and research the latest agentic technologies. Implement robust agentic frameworks across multiple platforms.
• DevOps Implementation: Lead efforts in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to gather requirements and implement features that enhance user experience and security posture.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Implement microservices and event-driven architectures to enhance scalability and maintainability of applications.
• Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Technical Leadership: Collaborate with leadership to set the technical direction for the team while balancing speed, innovation, and quality.

Must Have Skills

• Experience building in an AI-driven environment
• Building streaming applications using Apache Flink
• Experience with microservices and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Java, or equivalent.
• Background in architectural design for scalable applications.
• A hunger for growth and the desire to work in a low-ego environment.

Preferred Skills

• Cybersecurity experience, ideally in a startup environment
• Travel readiness for potential client engagements or team retreats.
