Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design and lead high-scale distributed systems, mentor senior engineers, and collaborate across business units to drive architectural decisions.

Candidates should have 12+ years in software engineering, strong skills in Java, Go or C++, and a deep focus on data modeling, performance tuning, and reliability engineering.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 12 or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise designing distributed, high-scale systems in production.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Go, C++, or similar backend languages.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, system optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives across multiple business units.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent industry recognition.
