Job summary

Green Dot Corporation in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a software engineer to design, code, and test software enhancements and new products used in financial services. You will work across local, networked, cloud-based, and mobile platforms, writing clean code and participating in debugging and documentation.

This is a regular, structured hybrid role with three days in the office each week and remote days as needed.

Job Summary

Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud‑based or Internet‑related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end‑user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

PAY RANGE

The targeted base salary for this position is $149,000 to $214,300 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
