CyberCoders in Denver, CO is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to provide technical leadership while staying hands-on in the design and development of modern frontend web applications using Vue 3 and TypeScript.

This role emphasizes mentoring engineers, collaborating with Product and Design, and shaping frontend architecture to deliver polished, accessible user experiences for thousands of customers while driving performance and reusable components.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building production web applications.
• Strong production experience with Vue 3, React, or Angular.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience architecting large-scale frontend applications.
• Deep understanding of component-based architecture, state management, frontend design patterns, and application performance.
• Experience building responsive, accessible user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
• Experience building reusable component libraries or shared design systems.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and modern browser capabilities.
• Experience with modern build tooling such as Vite, Webpack, or Rollup.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Vitest, Jest, or similar frameworks.
• Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and establishing engineering standards.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and close collaboration with designers.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.

About the Role

We're partnering with a well-established technology company that's investing heavily in modernizing its customer-facing platform. They're looking for a Principal Software Engineer to provide technical leadership while remaining deeply hands‑on in the design and development of modern web applications.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex frontend challenges, mentoring engineers, and working closely with Product and Design to deliver polished, intuitive user experiences. You'll help shape frontend architecture, establish engineering standards, and influence the technical direction of products used by thousands of customers.

While the team primarily develops in Vue 3, they're equally interested in engineers with strong production experience in React or Angular who are excited to work with Vue.

What You'll Do

• Architect and develop scalable frontend applications using Vue 3, TypeScript, and modern frontend best practices.
• Design reusable component libraries and establish frontend engineering standards.
