Job summary

Auria is hiring a Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer to join an Agile development team building web-based microservices for command and control of space operations. The role is hybrid and located in multiple U.S. sites including Colorado Springs, Dayton, and Herndon, VA.

The team develops scalable cloud-native solutions and intuitive UIs for complex services. Qualifications include microservice experience, REST APIs, RabbitMQ, Cucumber testing, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret

• Familiarity with microservice development of scalable solutions employing messaging (e.g. RabbitMQ) and REST APIs.
• Unit and behavioral test development using Cucumber.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Auriais looking to hire a Software Engineer, Full Stack Developerto join our amazing team to work on an Agile Development Team developing web-based microservices for command and control of space operations deployed in a containerized environment.This role is HYBRID in Colorado Springs, CO OR Dayton, OH OR Herndon, VA.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

• Develops documents analyzes tests integrates debugs and maintains system architectures and software to provide scalable solutions composing of custom and opensource software.
• Participates in Agile Teams to plan develop enhancements and maintain software
• Integrates commercial solutions including opensource software into cloud native environment.
• Develops intuitive user interfaces to ease employment of technically complex services

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

• Familiarity with microservice development of scalable solutions employing messaging (e.g. RabbitMQ) and REST APIs
• Unit and behavioral test (using Cucumber) development
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

• Master’s degree computer science or equivalent
• Front end and Backend development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines software management tools and source code repositories such GitHub Gitlab and Jira.
• Ability to evaluate opensource tools and recommend for employment
• Familiarity with Document as Code such as Sphinx
• Experience with NASA GMAT scripting
• Experience with DoD (i.e. secure) application coding practices

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $175,000 - $200,000.
