Overview

Leidos offers a Principal Software Engineer role in its Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area, focusing on Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations, Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence, and Cryptographic Key Management.

Responsibilities

• Drive software programming initiatives using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
• Devise and test system validation methods with JUnit and Katalon, and employ automated deployment pipelines.
• Prototype, deploy, and maintain solutions on Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) leveraging infrastructure-as-a-service and cloud data services.
• Coordinate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and team members to align user stories, develop and deliver features, and support SAFe Agile practices.
• Analyze performance, conduct end-to-end testing, and drive infrastructure needs to meet mission requirements.
• Apply industry best-practice standards and operating procedures to create innovative customer solutions.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience with Agile practices, service-oriented architecture, and software development life cycle within a DevOps framework.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring, C2S, and related technologies.
• Experience with JUnit/Katalon testing, Python, Bash, and related scripting languages.
• Proficiency with Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud data services (S3, RDS, EFS).
• Experience working with version control (Git) and issue tracking systems (JIRA, Confluence).
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience or Master’s with 10+ years.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.

Salary

Pay Range: $131,300.00 – $237,350.00 (subject to change). The figure is a guideline and may be adjusted based on responsibilities, education, experience, and other factors.
