About the Role

We are seeking experienced, hands-on engineers and architects with expertise in developing large-scale, distributed infrastructure systems for the cloud. The successful candidate will design, build, and implement cloud-scale systems in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant environment, impacting our customers' businesses significantly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable, reliable distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in building and operating large-scale, cloud-based distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java and Go.
• Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals, data models, and distributed persistence.
• Knowledge of security principles, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and network programming.
• Experience with software engineering methodologies and building scalable infrastructure software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile/SCRUM development, big data solutions, fleet orchestration, machine learning fundamentals, networking, and storage principles.

Additional Information

US salary range: $96,800 - $223,400/year, with potential bonuses and equity. We offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
