Role Summary

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead the design, architecture, and deployment of AI-driven systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to build scalable, AI-powered solutions that enhance compliance management. You will also define and execute our AI/ML strategy to improve compliance workflows. This role is ideal for a technical leader who excels at advancing AI innovation and wants to help shape the future of compliance technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop AI/ML-powered solutions, with a strong focus on LLMs and NLP technologies, to transform compliance management.
• Build scalable AI-driven features using NLP, predictive analytics, generative AI, and automation.
• Define AI/ML best practices, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead the development and deployment of ML models in production, including fine-tuning LLMs and implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approaches.
• Optimize and maintain MLOps pipelines, feature stores, and AI model monitoring, focusing on scalable LLM inference and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and capitalize on AI-driven opportunities.
• Research and integrate LLM advancements and generative AI techniques to drive innovation.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of AI-driven development within the company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on AI/ML innovation.
• Expertise in Python, TypeScript, cloud-native development, and full-stack engineering.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, including LLM-focused libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, and OpenAI API.
• Proven experience architecting and deploying AI/ML systems at scale, particularly LLM-powered applications.
• Strong background in MLOps, model lifecycle management, and AI infrastructure.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval methods for LLMs.
• Ability to define and execute AI/ML strategy, focusing on LLM-based automation and decision intelligence.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive AI initiatives.
