Job summary

Octave is seeking a Principal Software Developer in Madison, AL to lead design and delivery of mission-critical public safety software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

You should have at least 7 years of software development experience, strong communication, and deep knowledge of C#, C++, React, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related field or commensurate experience.
• 7+ years' experience in software development.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
• Experience in public safety workflows.
• Experience in developing Public Safety applications is a plus.
• Working Knowledge of: C#, C++, XML/XSL, JSON, SQL, HTTP/REST, REACT, WCF, GIT, Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services is a plus.
