Ericsson Inc.– Enterprise Wireless Solutions is seeking a Principal Modem Architect to own the end-to-end modem firmware architecture for LGA modem modules and drive software stack integration across firmware, hardware, and platform teams.

You will influence modem roadmap decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with chipset partners to deliver high-performance 5G platforms deployed globally. A strong background in embedded systems, ARM cores, DSP, and C/C++ is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems architecture.
• 3+ years in modem or wireless domains.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for large-scale, real-time embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and define the end-to-end modem firmware architecture for LGA modem modules.
• Lead modem software stack integration, customization, and long-term upgrade strategy.
• Define architectural guidelines for baseband platform, RF, power management, and system interfaces.
• Drive cross-team technical alignment across firmware, hardware, RF, and platform teams.
• Serve as the primary technical contact with modem chipset and hardware partners.
• Review and guide complex design decisions, trade-offs, and performance optimizations.
