Ericsson is seeking an early-career Network Engineer to join our team in Plano, US. You will contribute to RF optimization, 4G/5G activation, and performance analysis while supporting pre-sales and service delivery activities.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in IT/CS with up to 5 years of RF experience and a willingness to learn Python and Power BI, working with cross-functional teams across NIC, ODS, NDS, IC, and Field Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support the launch of new carriers and sites for 4G/5G, CBRS, and small cells across top-tier operators in Canada and regional US/Canada deployments.
• Assist with C-band launches including SSV drive testing and auditing activities.
• Monitor KPIs and troubleshoot RF issues for new deployments and site changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate project status to stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to develop technical understanding of network design, technical network analysis, pre-sales support, Ericsson's cutting-edge analytics solutions, and a strong foundation in customer-focus and quality service delivery, with mentorship and support from experienced team members.What you will do:• Support the launch of new carriers and sites for 4G, 5G, CBRS, and small cells across top-tier operators in Canada, as well as regional carriers in the U.S. and Canada.• Assist with C-band launches, including SSV drive testing and auditing activities.• Monitor KPIs and help troubleshoot RF issues for new carrier and site deployments.• Monitor KPIs and support resolution of RF issues associated with radio and baseband swaps.• Contribute to on-time, on-budget project delivery with a focus on high customer satisfaction.• Learn and grow through hands-on project work, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.The skills you bring:• A bachelor's (or preferred master's) degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.• Typically up to 5 years of relevant experience (including internships, coursework, or professional experience in RF optimization or RAN performance).
