Job summary

F5 is seeking a Principal Software Design Engineer in Test to own architectural design and quality strategy for enterprise-grade products in the United States.

You will build scalable automated test frameworks, provide leadership on testability, observability, and resilience, and mentor engineers while partnering with product teams to define quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience with Python, Go, Java or C++, and deep expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA/Testing, with a strong track record in leadership and architectural decision-making.
• Deep programming proficiency in Python, Go, Java or C++, with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes) and a microservices-based architecture.
