About the role:

As a key member of our SOC, you'll drive security objectives across web2 and web3 environments, develop incident response playbooks, identify attack patterns, perform threat modeling, and address security incidents through forensic analysis. You will stay current on emerging trends, analyze threats, and lead investigations, bridging conventional cybersecurity with web3 security to ensure comprehensive protection.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and analyze data from networks, blockchain, and web applications.
• Investigate incidents and vulnerabilities across environments.
• Utilize security tools like SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and blockchain platforms.
• Develop incident response procedures and automation scripts.
• Create and maintain incident response playbooks.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
• Assess risks in IT and Web3 systems, including smart contracts and DeFi.
• Integrate data streams into security dashboards.
• Mentor team members and produce security advisories.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Manage and optimize SIEM deployments.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years in IT Security, specifically in a SOC environment.
• Experience with incident response and security tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance standards, and troubleshooting.
• Scripting skills in Python/Bash/Go.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Certifications like GIAC, ISC2, ISACA, etc., or blockchain-specific certifications.
• Degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
• Experience with blockchain forensics and security assessments.
