Job summary

PowerPlan, Inc. is seeking a principal-level SRE to own hands-on reliability across AWS and Azure, shaping how reliability is practiced within the organization. You will automate toil, lead incident response, and deliver an observability platform with SLIs/SLAs, dashboards, and alerting, influencing engineering practices.

This hybrid role combines onsite collaboration at the Smyrna, GA office with remote work while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience running production systems in AWS and Azure.
• Proven ability to automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Strong incident response and postmortem skills.
• Observability and metrics-driven incident management.
• Ability to influence across teams without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated infrastructure cases across AWS and Azure.
• Deliver automations that reduce manual toil in operations.
• Lead incident response and blameless postmortems.
• Design dashboards and SLIs/SLAs for service health.
• Collaborate with Support, PS, and Engineering to improve reliability.
