Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager for the AWS Global Sales security engineering function. You will own security governance, build and calibrate the reviewer community, and lead training and field enablement to accelerate secure customer engagement.

You'll partner with security, legal, and field leaders to surface and close risks, define scalable processes, and drive the security roadmap for a global audience while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.

Responsibilities

• Own the field's security and governance frameworks, codifying AWS security standards into steering docs and agents.
• Grow the field security reviewer community, recruiting, training, and accrediting reviewers.
• Own field security training, partnering with security engineers and Field Enablement on delivery.
• Measure AGS against AWS-wide security standards and report risk to leadership.
• Coordinate post-incident follow-through and close action items with AWS Security leadership.
• Shape the AGS field's security roadmap to balance near-term wins with long-term goals.
• Manage governance for security exceptions and escalations, maintaining documented decisions.
• Some travel required (up to 25%).
