Job summary

MSD is seeking a senior Statistical Programmer to lead development of scalable analysis and reporting standards across drug/vaccine projects. You will collaborate with Biostatistics, Data Management, Clinical Research, Regulatory, and other groups to deliver high-quality analyses and submission-ready outputs.

The role requires extensive experience in clinical trial programming, CDISC SDTM/ADaM, and strategic thinking to shape project deliverables while guiding junior staff.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field plus 12 or more years statistical programming experience in a clinical trial environment

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of scalable multilingual standards library based on R, Python and SAS with emphasis on open-source adoption and automation.
• Address operational challenges with standards-based solutions to improve analysis and reporting deliverables.
• Facilitate global adoption of standards and programming best practices.
• Contribute to strategic solutions in support of cross-functional BARDS, GCD, and R&D divisions.
• Provide technical consultation and analytical support to statistical programmers and statisticians.
• Lead and contribute to departmental strategic initiative project teams.
• Represent our Company on CDISC and PHUSE industry initiatives.
