Job summary

Merck & Co., Rahway, NJ, is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to support late-stage drug and vaccine development within BARDS. You will lead analysis datasets, tables, listings and figures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality regulatory submissions.

The role requires strong SAS expertise, CDISC/ADaM, and experience guiding projects through CROs, with hybrid work and potential international travel.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or MS in related field with SAS experience in a clinical trial environment.
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills and strong communication.
• Experience developing analysis and reporting deliverables for R&D projects.

Responsibilities

• Effective analysis and report programming development and validation utilizing standards and SOPs.
• Maintain and manage a project plan including resource forecasting.
• Coordinate activities of a global programming team including outsource staff.
• Membership on departmental strategic initiative teams.
