Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Rahway, NJ seeks a Principal Scientist to lead Separation Sciences within Analytical Enabling Capabilities, supporting drug development across modalities including small molecules, biologics, peptides, and ADCs.

You will drive chromatography and purification strategies, mentor staff, and partner across process chemistry, analytical sciences, automation, and informatics to deliver robust workflows.

Qualifications

• PhD required with 8+ years in pharma R&D.
• Expertise in chromatography, purification, and analytical separation.
• Experience across multiple modalities and cGMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific leadership in chromatography and purification workflows (HPLC, SFC, LCMS).
• Support structure-activity and impurity studies.

Role:

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Chemical Engineering with 8+ years of industry experience supporting pharmaceutical R&D
• expertise in chromatography, purification, and analytical separation techniques
• experience with multiple modalities, scale-up, and cGMP is preferred
