The Analytical Enabling Capabilities organization in West Point, PA is seeking a motivated scientist with technical expertise in mass spectrometry-based protein, protein conjugation or oligonucleotides or polysaccharide characterization. In addition to mass spectrometry skills, we are also seeking candidates with strong scientific leadership, proteomics and data science skills. The ideal candidate is a leader in the field of mass spectrometry and will have a track record of advancing the pharmaceutical development of vaccines with mass spectrometry, as well as driving scientific excellence through external presentations and publications. Additionally, the candidate will have advanced knowledge in both analytical experimental design and the ability to provide technical leadership for junior scientists and to vaccines pipeline programs. Finally, this Principal Scientist will be a partner in problem solving, building leadership, and driving collaboration both internally and externally.
Minimum Requirement: PhD in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry or relevant degree in mass spectrometry plus 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry

The salary range for this role is $156,900.00 - $247,000.00 This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
