Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a technology-driven scientist/engineer to design and deploy advanced laboratory automation integrating robotics, analytics, and software. You will work closely with researchers to translate experiments into scalable digital workflows and lead multi-disciplinary projects across IT, data science, and CMC teams.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Physics, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Material Science or related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• M.S. in same fields with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• B.S. in same fields with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Technology-centric scientist or engineer with track record in modernizing pharmaceutical development practices (biologics, vaccines, small molecule modalities).
• Experience with time series data, continuous data streams, scientific data engineering, automation, process informatics, PAT or related data-rich ecosystems.
• Ability to architect scalable data collection, processing, visualization, historization and consumption.

Responsibilities

• Design the lab of the future by integrating robotics, instrumentation, and software into cohesive, high-performing solutions.
• Deliver world-renowned science by partnering with researchers to convert experimental needs into scalable digital workflows.
• Collaborate across automation, data science, IT and CMC communities to drive cross-disciplinary outcomes.
• Lead high-impact projects from concept through deployment across multiple teams.
• Improve existing digital technologies and automation platforms for performance and reliability.
• Mentor and train scientists in using these technologies and provide hands-on support.
