Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Principal Scientist in Analytical Development to lead program-specific method development for therapeutic proteins from discovery to first product registration.

You will provide hands-on technical leadership and work with cross-functional teams in Analytical Development, Process Development, Global Quality and Regulatory Affairs-CMC, supporting commercialization of large molecule products.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in analytical chemistry/biochemistry or related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• M.S. in analytical chemistry/biochemistry or related field with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• B.S. in analytical chemistry/biochemistry or related field with a minimum of 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead program-specific method development activities for therapeutic proteins from discovery interface through first product registration.
• Provide hands-on, day-to-day technical and strategic leadership in Analytical Development and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and transfer analytical methods (UPLC/HPLC) for biologics such as monoclonal antibodies and complex protein modalities.
