IDEAYA Biosciences, a precision medicine oncology company, is seeking a talented analytical chemist to oversee discovery analytical work at our South San Francisco headquarters. This role requires an on-site presence four days per week and close collaboration with medicinal chemistry and cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in analytical chemistry with 5+ years in drug discovery, focusing on HPLC/SFC purification, method development, and CRO management.

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual with significant pharmaceutical industry experience to join our multidisciplinary team and help oversee all aspects of discovery analytical work. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with medicinal chemistry and related cross‑functional teams to successfully deliver drug discovery pipeline goals. The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, those listed below. This position is based in our South San Francisco headquarter offices and required to be onsite four days per week per our company policy. Reporting to: Vice President, Medicinal Chemistry.

Expected salary range: $167,000 - $206,000.
