Job summary

Numerator is seeking a Principal Survey Consultant on its Research team to lead advanced strategic research engagements such as segmentations and trackers. You’ll manage projects, coordinate client communications, and guide methodological decisions to deliver insights and drive client value.

You will coach teams, shape project design, analyze results, and present findings while aligning with client objectives.

• Lead senior-level guidance and executive consulting to clients and project teams for strategic research projects.
• Own overall project outcomes and deliver output quality and activation workshops.
• Hands-on duties: lead client calls, direct client communications, shape questionnaire direction, and drive deliverables.
• Manage project timelines, coordinate internal and client teams, and present final results.
• Understand clients' strategic needs to ensure project success for both client and Numerator.
• Advise on research design and delivery best practices across advanced analytics with clients.
• Collaborate with methodology experts and client teams to enable continued Numerator-client partnerships.

The salary range for this role is$117,000 - $160,600/year + Bonus

As a Principal Survey Consultant on Numerator’s Research team, you’ll play a critical role in the successful project management, client management, and delivery of insights for our most advanced and strategic engagements (e.g. segmentations, trackers). As a coach/player role, this person will be the project lead, collaborating with clients, methodology and statistical experts, and the client account team. The Principal Survey Consultant will manage complex conversations regarding project design, analysis, interpretation, adoption, timelines, and challenges with the client.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and provide senior-level guidance and executive-level consulting to the client and project team to drive the successful implementation of Numerator’s advanced strategic research projects (e.g. segmentations, trackers) and ensure excellence throughout the project experience
• Accountable for overall project outcomes, including final ownership of output quality and delivery of strategic activation workshops
• Hands‑on project responsibilities include: leading key client calls and directing client communications; driving direction and strategy of questionnaire; leading deliverable creation process / story / design; driving project management with client and internally; giving final presentation and leading any workshops; delegating work to the appropriate level within the project team
• Understand client’s strategic business and research needs; ensure project success by working toward an optimal outcome for both the client and Numerator
• Demonstrate and provide consultation on research design and delivery best practices across multiple forms of advanced research analytics both within the team and with clients directly
• Collaborate with clients and our methodology experts/statisticians and direct the dedicated account team to enable project success, with a goal of continued Numerator-Client partnership
• Maintain knowledge of Numerator’s Insights panel data and platform functionality, in order to partner for successful integration with panel data or transition of a project to the panel consulting team
