Job summary

GlobalFoundries in the United States is seeking a Principal Quantum Integration Engineer to lead cross-functional integration for one or more quantum technology platforms, moving programs from concept through prototype manufacturing.

You will own planning, schedule development, readiness reviews, and continuous improvement of development execution, while coordinating with Product Development, Quantum AME, and Fab teams to accelerate timelines.

Summary of Role:

The Principal Quantum Integration Engineer serves as the primary execution coordinator for one or more quantum technology platforms. The role owns cross-functional integration activities required to move development programs from concept through prototype manufacturing.

Essential Responsibilities:

Integration Ownership

• Lead execution planning for assigned quantum programs.

• Drive alignment between modality roadmaps and manufacturing capability.

• Develop integrated schedules, risk assessments, and readiness plans.

Manufacturing Readiness

• Own readiness reviews for:

• Process flows

• Tool capability

• Materials qualification

• Metrology capability

• Reliability plans

• Ensure development lots are prepared for successful execution.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead technical coordination meetings.

• Drive issue resolution across organizations.

• Facilitate communication between Product Development, Quantum AME, Fab8, and Fab9.

Continuous Improvement

• Develop standard work for quantum development execution.

• Capture and transfer learning between modalities.

• Improve development cycle time and execution efficiency.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates Degree,BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

• 5+ years semiconductor integration, process engineering, or technology development experience.

• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives.

• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows and process integration.

Expected Salary Range

$85,000.00 - $146,000.00
