Job summary

Plan A Technologies in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Principal Prototyping Engineer to drive rapid concept-to-demo cycles. You will work across software, hardware, AI, and embedded systems, translating ideas into working prototypes with minimal bureaucracy.

You will manage own technical direction, access prototyping budget, and hand off mature demos to R&D teams in India and Australia, contributing to radical product concepts and fast-paced development.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Software and Hardware experience.
• Prototyping across hardware, software, AI, and embedded systems.
• CAD fluency and hands-on with rapid prototyping tools.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work independently without PM or meetings.
• Portfolio of shipped projects is valued.

Responsibilities

• Build working prototypes of casino gaming products with hardware/software/AI.
• Translate ideas into code and physical builds quickly.
• Integrate sensors, RFID, cameras, and displays into MVPs.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate development timelines.
• Lead weekly demos and hand off mature prototypes to R&D teams.
• Set own technical direction and work with leadership.
