Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer to join the Project Engineering team in Troy, NY.

You will design, specify, and commission process and clean utility equipment, lead deviation investigations, and support manufacturing processes to keep operations compliant and efficient. This role offers opportunities to manage mid-to-large projects, develop P&IDs, coordinate with QA/Validation, and supervise contractors, contributing to Regeneron's mission to deliver life-changing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or another relevant Engineering discipline.
• Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferred.
• Solid understanding of process control systems and automation.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering documentation for cGMP process equipment and sanitary equipment design requirements.
• Experience planning and tracking project activities and schedules.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to lead without direct authority.

In this role, you will design, specify, and commission new and renovated process and clean utility equipment. You will lead deviation investigations and provide engineering support across manufacturing processes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

When & where:

• Location: Troy, New York, United States
• Travel: up to 10%, domestic and international

Discover your role:

• Design and specify cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls, including engineering documentation
• Manage mid-to-large projects for process equipment and clean utilities, including start-up, commissioning, and site acceptance

This role requires:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or another relevant Engineering discipline, and the following amount of project/process engineering experience for each level :
• Level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role
• Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferred
• Solid understanding of process control systems and automation.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering documentation for cGMP process equipment and sanitary equipment design requirements
• Experience planning and tracking project activities and schedules
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to lead without direct authority

Gowning and Physical Requirements:

• Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)
• Ability to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire

Salary Range (annually)

$88,300.00 - $168,500.00
