We are seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead high-impact federal programs. The ideal candidate is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in project and program management, experienced in managing large and complex technical projects, and skilled at aligning program objectives with strategic outcomes.
This position is designated as Key Personnel and is responsible for overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring successful delivery through innovation, risk mitigation, and strategic planning.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large and complex programs and projects.
Develop and maintain integrated project management plans, risk management strategies, and transition plans.
Analyze complex project-related problems and develop innovative and executable solutions addressing schedules, technologies, methodologies, tools, and budgets.
Supervise cross-functional teams, including technical, functional, and operations staff, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and delivery.
Interface with client stakeholders, providing regular project updates, briefings, and strategic advice.
Develop and implement long- and short-range plans for applications, systems development, maintenance, and production support.
Ensure full compliance with quality standards, timelines, and contractual deliverables.
Track performance metrics and apply corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
Education: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project/program management or a related area.
Proven experience leading large-scale federal government projects or programs.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in systems analysis, application lifecycle management, and enterprise IT environments.
Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce platform.
Demonstrated success in managing project risk and seamless project transitions.
