Frontgrade Technologies is seeking a Principal Program Manager to oversee the overall execution of major projects and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to align with company goals and mission-critical deliverables.

The role emphasizes communication with stakeholders, governance, and assurance that deliverables meet schedule and quality standards in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in a specialized functional discipline, with alternative pathways (e.g., 14 years no bachelor, 8 years with a Master, 5 years with a PhD) considered.

Responsibilities

• Establish governance bodies and engage stakeholders to support project direction and customer experience.
• Develop complex project plans to support delivery.
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to keep progress on schedule and within budget.
• Engage stakeholders and communicate updates to ensure buy-in and success.
• Manage expectations of all stakeholders from project team to executives.
• Manage multiple projects, resources, and governance.
• Procure, develop, motivate, coach, and advise project staff.
• Mentor and assist several project managers and team members responsible for elements of the project.

Responsibilities

• Establish effective project or program oversight and other governance bodies, and engage the appropriate stakeholders to support the direction of the project or program, and enable a superior customer experience
• Develop complex project plans to support successful project delivery
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
• Engage project stakeholders and communicate project updates to ensure buy-in and project success
• Manage expectations of all project stakeholders, at all levels, from the project team to the project executives
• Manage multiple projects, project resources, and project governance
• Manage project resources, including procuring, developing, motivating, coaching, and advising project staff
• Mentor, coach, and assist in directing the work of several project managers and team members, each responsible for an element of the project and its associated project team
  

Experience

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (14) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. OR (8) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree. OR (5) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.
