Job summary

RTX is seeking a Financial Program Cost Controls Analyst in Tucson, AZ to join the Advanced Capabilities Sustainment team. You will provide financial oversight, develop EACs and LREs, maintain budgets, and collaborate with PMs, CAMs, IPT Leads, and FPA to ensure program success.

Onsite role with a signing bonus for eligible candidates; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years of experience
  • Experience with the program business role, SAP, and FP&A concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word and/or PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost & schedule reporting, financial variance analysis, and funding planning
  • Partner with the PM Organization to develop EAC and monthly LRE
  • Maintain accurate records for Budget and EAC tracking
  • Provide financial guidance to CAMs, IPT Leads, and cross functional teams
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and contract modifications for accuracy
  • Collaborate with FPA to develop monthly forecasting, cash management, AOP and LRP

The Air Dominance Portfolio is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Program Cost Controls Analyst to join the Advanced Capabilities Sustainment team. This role offers a growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to work closely with Program Managers (PMs), Control Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, Finance Leadership, and Operations Supply Chain (OSC).

The Financial Program Cost Controls Analyst will play a critical role in the setup and execution of multiple contracts. Key responsibilities include providing essential financial oversight and guidance to ensure program success.

What You Will Do
  • Prepare cost & schedule reporting, financial variance analysis, and funding planning
  • Partner with the PM Organization to develop Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE)
  • Maintain accurate records for Budget and EAC tracking
  • Provide financial guidance to CAMs, IPT Leads, and cross functional teams
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and contract modifications for accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) to develop and maintain monthly forecasting, cash management, the Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Long Range Planning (LRP)
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Experience with the program business role, SAP, and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word and/or PowerPoint.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
