We are seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager for the AWS Data Portfolio Product Marketing team. In the era of generative AI, Data is the make or break factor for AI success. Every enterprise is seeking to understand how to turn their data into a strategic asset.

In this role, you'll translate complex technological capabilities into compelling insights that inspire enterprise leaders to reimagine their data strategy. You're not just marketing products; you're crafting a vision of how data and agentic AI can fundamentally reshape business potential and the analytics market.

As a key member of the AWS Data Portfolio team, you'll connect the dots across our diverse data products and categories, leveraging market insights and business acumen to shape portfolio strategy. You'll partner deeply with executives, product managers, sales teams, and marketing organizations to develop a cohesive narrative that resonates with both technical and business decision makers.

This role is an opportunity to help shape the future of enterprise technology. You'll drive global growth, establish market-defining messaging, and create content that helps customers understand and implement AWS data solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leveraging strong business acumen to assess market opportunities and trends, partnering with sales and product teams to shape portfolio strategy and direction
  • Developing thought leadership and compelling content that positions AWS data portfolio as a transformative solution for both business and technical decision-makers
  • Creating market-driven narratives and assets including executive presentations that demonstrate the comprehensive value of AWS data portfolio, from individual services to full solutions
  • Activating and enabling field and partner marketing teams, creating compelling assets and playbooks that empower our global sales ecosystem to articulate the data portfolio's unique value proposition
  • Managing relationships with industry analysts and influencers to shape market perception
  • Defining and tracking business metrics that demonstrate the portfolio's strategic value
  • Working effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve our joint business goals
Basic Qualifications
  • 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
  • Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research
