The WWST team builds technical solutions to track, record, and forecast Amazon's WW impact on the Environment (i.e., Carbon, Water, Waste, etc.). This includes calculating past and current impacts and future abatement plans, ensuring credibility through standards and validations, and highlighting non-obvious opportunities for Amazon's global business teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional leaders (e.g. sustainability experts, scientists, economists, engineers, etc.) to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable, distributed services
• Collaborate with groups of experts and cross-functional colleagues in an agile environment
• Discover, define, and apply scientific, engineering, and business best practices to customer problems
• Work on a variety of challenging problems that have to potential to significantly impact sustainability objectives
• Comfortably sort through urgency and opportunity to continuously deliver for customers while maintaining progress towards long term targets

About the team

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
