We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to join our Product Organization at Smartsheet. You will be accountable for driving business impacting investments within areas of high ambiguity, driving strategy that aligns with customer demands, business goals, and industry trends. Join us and help our customers leverage the potential of their workforce and mobilize their talent.


You will report into a leader in Product Management, and can be based in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.


You Will:



  • Define a vision and strategy for how AI can help collaborators work more efficiently in Smartsheet

  • Use company objectives, customer needs, market trends, and business outcomes (with a focus on ARR growth) to inform your work

  • Socialize your work and drive alignment with cross-functional leaders; work closely with design and engineering to create compelling, high-quality customer experiences

  • Use internal and external data to guide experimentation, decisions, opportunities and evaluation of success

  • Partner with research, product design, data science and analytics teams to run experiments and test prototypes to validate hypotheses

  • Communicate strategy, product insights, winning and losing experimentation, etc. to a wide audience

  • Mentor junior product managers and help support their growth

  • Successful candidates will operate at both the strategic and tactical levels and form strong cross-team partnerships that ensure combined success for the product area

  • Support other duties as needed


You Have:



  • 8-10+ years of product management or consulting experience

  • Successfully delivered and scaled delightful AI-driven user experiences on high-scale platforms

  • Experience prioritizing against and driving business outcomes with a focus on ARR growth

  • Worked within agile development environments (Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred)

  • Experience delivering highly-complex enterprise software products from inception to launch

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A desire to mentor junior teammates

  • A four year college degree - MBA preferred but not required

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity.

US Base Salary Pay Range
$177,500$233,750 USD
