Come join Intuit’s Mid-Market Product Management org as a Principal Product Manager for our forward deployed initiatives. The Mid-Market Product Management org is dedicated to discovering, clarifying, and evangelizing the future of finance and business operations for our Mid-Market and enterprise customers globally. To ensure the Mid-Market product experience is built for the future, we are adopting an AI-first mindset across our entire ecosystem.
Some of Intuit’s highest-value Mid-Market and enterprise opportunities aren’t won from behind a roadmap — they’re won on-site, in front of the customer, by someone who can turn an ambiguous, high-stakes problem into a working solution in days, not quarters. In this role, you will embed directly with our most strategic customers, diagnose their toughest business problems, and lead the cross-functional team that ships a solution while you’re still in the room. This role is customer-facing, high-pace, and travel-intensive by design. Operating like a hands-on problem solver and a trusted advisor at once, you will scope the problem with the customer, translating it into requirements for engineering in near-real time, and staying accountable for the outcome through go-live and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-stakes customer engagements end-to-end — from on-site discovery and problem diagnosis through solution design, rapid prototyping, implementation, and go-live.
- Act as the primary product point of contact for the customer during engagements, building trust with executive stakeholders while directing forward deploy engineers embedded on the engagements.
- Translate ambiguous, customer-specific problems into clear, prioritized requirements, iterating quickly and solving real customer problems with rapid solution delivery.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to embed directly with customer teams during critical milestones.
- Identify patterns across engagements and feed them back into the core product roadmap.
- Move fast under ambiguity and pressure: make sound product calls for customers with incomplete information, and know when to escalation, pivot, or double down.
- Earn buy-in from customer executives and internal stakeholders alike through sharp, credible storytelling under real-world time constraints.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Product Management or equivalent experience (including forward deploy engineering, consulting, or enterprise solutions/delivery roles) for technical, AI-native products in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrated track record leading customer engagements from ambiguous problem to shipped solution, ideally in forward-deployed, professional services, or enterprise implementation settings.
- Nature problem-solver: comfortable diagnosing a business problem with incomplete information and building toward a working solution under time pressure, on-site, without a pre-built playbook.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time to customer sites.
- Exceptionally customer-savvy: skilled at reading a room of executive stakeholders, building trust quickly, and managing a high-stakes engagement in real time.
- High degree of technical understanding to collaborate closely with engineers on solution design and scoping during live engagements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present technical content to both practitioners and C-level executives.
- Familiarity with the latest advancements in AI/ML technology and fast-prototyping tools; familiarity with enterprise finance and business operations and Intuit’s product offerings is a plus.
- Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
- This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
- Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
