Key Responsibilities

  • Owns and drives the product lifecycle management and P&L for Integrated Fire & Gas Detection Control System Solutions.
  • Works with the Product Management Team to define and execute the multi-year strategy for the integrated Fire, Gas, and Systems product portfolio.
  • Identifies and partners with third-party suppliers to expand offerings.
  • Collaborates across the organization to prioritize the roadmap to achieve business objectives.
  • Defines and secures resources necessary for project support.
  • Ensures a balanced mix of projects to meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Prioritizes projects to maximize ROI.
  • Facilitates the stage-gate product development process.
  • Supports quick decision-making to balance customer and business needs.
  • Translates product benefits into effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Owns pricing strategy for offerings.
  • Manages offering vitality, including upgrades, extensions, and retirements.
  • Leads SKU rationalization to prevent proliferation.
  • Collaborates on training, marketing, and communication to highlight product value and differentiation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of product development experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing product roadmaps and executing development plans
  • Ability to leverage human-centered design principles
  • Knowledge in flame and gas detection or sensing industries
  • Understanding of NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code
  • Knowledge of Industrial Automation and Control Systems (e.g., DCS, PLC, SIS, ESD), Certified Fire and Gas Safety Systems, Fire Alarm, and Extinguishing Systems
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset
  • Ability to influence senior management and collaborate across levels
  • Strong communication skills and technical expertise
  • Assertiveness with empathy and ability to build partnerships
  • Experience in product lifecycle management and development
  • Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills
