Job description

Walmart’s Accelerated Pickup & Delivery (APD) Product Team is responsible for delivering the software needed to implement automated solutions in the back of our stores. The APD Product Team works with a high amount of cross-functional partners across Global Tech, Operations, Merchandising, and more to bring this solution to life. This team leads the charge to merge current processes and software with automation processes and software to improve customer & associate experience.

The Principal Product Manager in this role be the E2E owner of the APD Assortment Product space. You will be very close to the APD Assortment strategy working with Global Tech partners, APD Product managers, and Merchandising amongst other teams to bring that strategy to life in an efficient and scalable way. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring peers within the APD Assortment space who own individual pieces of the assortment solution to ensure proper prioritization and seamless working between all assortment teams. You will also be the primary owner of the overall assortment roadmap and are expected to make key assortment software decisions.

This role will report to the Senior Director, Product Management and is based in Bentonville, Arkansas.

What You’ll Do…

· Use data, advanced analytics, and AI/ML tools to optimize assortment selection.

· Build strategies for optimizing assortment selection.

· Define and track KPIs to evaluate the success of strategic initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.

· Continuously identify new opportunities to innovate and improve Walmart’s APD Assortment selection, using emerging technologies and processes.

· Mentor a team of product managers, creating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

· Experience with automation flows in a store/fulfillment environment

· Deep understanding of Assortment inputs and flows from eligibility through supply chain and to the store
