Rho, the modern banking platform, is seeking a Principal Product Designer to own end-to-end product experiences. You will champion usability, visual polish, and empathy, partnering with product and engineering to craft scalable, frictionless fintech solutions.

With 7+ years designing digital products and a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership, you will lead across surfaces, develop prototypes, and advocate for data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing digital products with end-to-end ownership.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership.
• Fintech experience preferred but not required.
• Skilled in prototyping, UI/UX, interaction design, and visual polish.
• Experience presenting to executives and external partners.
• Familiar with a design system and contributing to it.
• Adaptable, pragmatic, and empathetic in fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for end-to-end product features across multiple surfaces.
• Own complex design problems from exploration to polished execution.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape scope and user flows.
• Define interaction patterns and scalable, accessible solutions.
• Develop prototypes to test concepts, gather feedback, and drive alignment.
• Uphold design quality across micro-interactions and the overall experience.
• Communicate ideas in critiques, meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
• Contribute to design system enhancements and cross-team advocacy.
