Job summary

Salesforce, the leader in AI CRM, seeks a Senior IC VP Product Design to shape Slack's future as the AI Operating System for action. You will define the vision, drive craft, and personally execute at the highest level on next-gen Slack.

You will report to the SVP & Chief Design Officer and collaborate with product and engineering leadership to prototype, pressure-test, and shape the platform Slack must become, impacting millions of users daily.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product design experience at scale.
• Portfolio demonstrates visionary concept work and executional craft.
• Ability to define product direction through design at leadership levels.
• Experience designing consumer-grade experiences in complex product contexts.
• Proven track record influencing product strategy with executives.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and prototype the long-range design vision for Slack's agentic future.
• Hands-on, pixel-perfect design at top level, turning ideas into working experiences quickly.
• Partner with CDO, CPO and engineering to shape product strategy.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, research and brand.
• Lead simplification to AI-first Slack experience, deciding what to kill/keep/transform.
• Invent new patterns for agentic UX, voice, ambient UI and AI-generated interfaces.
• Advocate for enterprise users at scale, balancing needs of busy professionals.
