Job summary

You will own process documentation, collaborate across R&D, Manufacturing, and Engineering, and drive cost-saving projects with ROI analyses.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering, 7+ years in manufacturing process equipment, CAD and PFD proficiency, and PLC controls know-how.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Food, Chemical or Mechanical is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 7+ years engineering experience in manufacturing process equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialize breakthrough process tech and equipment in Salina, KS.
• Lead process documentation including PFDs, design matrices and control plans.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and operations to implement cost-saving projects.
• Develop specifications for existing and new equipment and lines.
• Prepare capital proposals with ROI and capacity estimates.
• Influence buy-in for new technologies.
