Job summary

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead Platform Stewardship and Governed Data. You’ll manage a critical product area spanning metadata, semantic layer governance, and data lifecycle across Snowflake and Databricks, driving strategy with senior leadership.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle, coordinate with data engineers, and align cross-functional teams to deliver trustworthy, scalable data products and AI-driven data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• At least 6 years as a product manager.
• Experience with governance, metadata, and data catalogs.
• Expertise with data management, analytics, and data governance.
• Experience with data catalog, metadata management, and semantic layer.
• Experience with data lineage and catalog modernization.
• Lifecycle governance including AI provenance.
• Experience defining business metrics across complex data architectures.
• Familiarity with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the product strategy and roadmap for Platform Stewardship and Governed Data.
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from problem definition to launch and iteration.
• Partner with engineering to automate metadata coverage and governance.
• Define and track KPIs like metadata coverage and catalog adoption.
• Align stakeholders across Privacy, Legal, Security, and Analytics.
