Vultr is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead engagement with strategic AI infrastructure customers, translating complex requirements into scalable product solutions. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical product management for infrastructure/cloud/AI platforms.
• Deep technical understanding of GPU compute, high-performance networking, storage, and orchestration (Kubernetes or Slurm).
• Experience working with enterprise customers to translate requirements into product specs.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML workloads including training, fine-tuning, and inference at scale.
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex infrastructure products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead product engagement with Vultr's strategic AI infrastructure customers.
• Own discovery and definition of customer requirements across GPUs, clusters, bare metal, orchestration, networking, and storage.
• Work with customers to understand deployment timelines, workloads, and success criteria.
• Translate requirements into clear product specs and engineering priorities.
• Partner with engineering, infra, networking, storage, and operations to deliver customer-ready solutions.
• Drive alignment across customer needs, roadmap, architecture decisions, and delivery.
• Define requirements across GPU compute, CPU, memory, local/shared storage, networking, and orchestration like Kubernetes/Slurm.
• Support conversations on design, capacity, performance, and acceptance criteria; help scale offerings.
