Job summary

A tech leader in AI innovation is seeking a Principal-level Platform Engineer to architect a next-generation AI-powered learning ecosystem. In this high-impact role, you'll design secure APIs, build developer tools, and ensure compliance and security. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience with large-scale API ecosystems and expertise in Kubernetes and integration frameworks. This position offers up to ~$650k in total compensation, along with excellent health benefits and a chance to work with a high-caliber team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building large-scale API or integration ecosystems.
• Deep experience with API design, SDKs, and multi-tenant architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/containers, OAuth2, and gRPC/REST.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve a secure, scalable external API gateway.
• Implement rate limiting, permissions, auditability, and secure experiences.
• Design pub/sub streams for syncing learning activity across systems.
