Join the Principal Physician Education Specialist role at AtriCure, Inc.

We are seeking a Principal Physician Education Specialist with expertise in surgical pain management to lead healthcare provider education initiatives. This role involves developing and delivering comprehensive education programs, building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), managing external faculty, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure impactful and compliant education.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading development and execution of healthcare provider education initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
2. Designing and delivering education programs, including curriculum and content development.
3. Managing relationships with KOLs and faculty, including onboarding and coordination.
4. Partnering with field teams to support best practices through education.
5. Gathering feedback to continuously improve program quality.
6. Supporting collaborations with professional societies and fellowship programs.
7. Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure cohesive initiatives.
8. Staying current on clinical trends and company products.
9. Representing the company at conferences and events.
10. Mentoring team members and assisting in onboarding.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience.
• Minimum 1-year experience in medical device or pharma industry.
• Project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to travel (~60%), including overnights and weekends.

Preferred experience:

• Interaction with sales management.
• Experience in Medical Education or Physician Liaison roles.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations like AdvaMed.
• Experience with clinical pathways, pain management, and end-user application of products.
