Job summary

Mezzo Technologies, a division of Signia Aerospace, seeks a Principal Performance Engineer to tackle advanced thermal and mechanical problems in heat exchanger technology. You will lead projects through sizing, stress analysis, and qualification testing while crafting new solutions for evolving customer needs.

You will guide designs from concept to reliable hardware within a highly collaborative team. The role requires strong fundamentals in heat transfer, mechanics, and fluid dynamics, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in engineering analysis and simulations is required.
• Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
• Experience with ANSYS Workbench or other analysis software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to develop design parameters for heat exchanger technology.
• Develop verification plans to ensure products meet design requirements.
• Produce high-quality documentation for design reviews and data deliverables.
• Collaborate with designers to balance performance and manufacturability.
• Coordinate and provide technical support for qualification testing of new products.
• Develop and maintain analytical models and tools.
• Stay updated on new technologies to maintain competitive edge.
