Northrop Grumman has openings for Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will provide cost scheduling support for program activities within our Aeronautics Sector. This position will be located onsite daily in Melbourne, FL.

This position will help lead the team in providing guidance, training and the monthly rhythm oversight in the following areas:

  • Prepare month-end reports

  • Develop and review EACs

  • Incorporate changes into the EVMS system in order to maintaincost and schedule baselines

  • Assist CAMs for EVMS activities including: WBS alignment, time phasing of the tasks, developing and documenting earned value methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate to complete analysis and updates, and variance analysis research and reporting

  • Support monthly cost and schedule reviews, identify pressures and opportunities, and develop recovery plans as required

  • Set up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system

  • Perform analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines

  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis

  • Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled

  • Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government

  • Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines

  • Conduct analysis on cost data and sets up meetings with management to review data

  • Provide support to Integrated Product Teams and Cost Management Managers

  • Prepare financial inputs to internal reports and presentations

  • Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management

  • Maintain and update cost control systems (eg. SAP and COBRA)

Basic Qualifications for Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of of experience with labor planning, material planning, and financial forecasting or a Master's degree with 3 years of stated experience

  • Stated experience with EVM

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access prior to start

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of of experience with labor planning, material planning, and financial forecasting or a Master's degree with 6 years of stated experience

  • Stated experience with EVM

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access prior to start

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cost management

  • Experience with SAP and MPM &/or COBRA

Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00Salary Range 2: $98,100.00 - $147,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
