Base pay range

$159,400.00/yr - $159,400.00/yr

NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Principal Network Security Architect to join our client’s team in Atlanta, GA. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.

SALARY: $159-$212K + bonus (depending on experience)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 10 years of experience in a related field
• At least 7 years focused on cybersecurity
• Must have network security experience
• Zscaler – understands SASE or ZERO trust which is important
• Expertise in firewalls, Cisco certifications
• Must be the expert on ports and protocols. Explain why they are blocking certain ports. Why they care what’s encrypted, firewall rules. Stand on their own in front of 20 other network engineers telling them why certain network security firewall rules are bad. Must know the theory
• Will collaborate with Network Engineers and discuss Security design patterns and architecture diagrams
• Won’t be configuring, building with their hands – uses the experience to make decisions
• Some Cisco, Palo Alto, VPC, security groups
• AWS cloud, getting them to securely communicate with each other. Need to understand how to do security groups and VPCs
• Network segmentation. Will be interviewed by the network engineering team.
