Responsibilities

• Responsible for infrastructure/technical planning, implementation, and support activities for systems owned by the CommonSpirit Health IT Operations Team.
• Install and support system hardware and software, perform system upgrades, and evaluate and install patches and software updates.
• Provide operational support such as resolving software and hardware issues, managing backup and recovery, administering technology layers, monitoring and alerting, capacity planning, and version management.
• Collaborate with architects, infrastructure support, database administrators, and application support teams to ensure seamless IT support and adherence to standards, controls, and governance.

Remote eligible.

Qualifications

Required

• BA or BS in Computer Science, Technology, or Business discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of professional experience in IT technical or infrastructure fields.
• 7 years of experience overseeing large complex projects.
• Understanding of Infrastructure, network connectivity, and protocols.
• 10+ years experience with Cisco Route Switch and Wireless infrastructure.
• Experience with datacenter and MDF/IDF construction (cabling, racks, power, cooling).
• Experience or understanding of Cisco Nexus platform.
• 7 years experience with vendor management.
• Experience with Cisco wireless and wireless design and coverage.
• Knowledge of WAN Design, MPLS, QoS, BGP, Metro Optical Ethernet, MultiPoint MOE.

Preferred

• CCNA or CCNP Certification.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

Pay Range

$51.66 - $74.91 /hour
